 POP3 MAILBOX ACCOUNTS If you want to store your incoming email to a domain or just get a free POP3 account you have come to the right place. mail.uk2.net Our services includes that you can get your own free mailbox right here on our servers, to ensure that your email is delivered lightning fast. Note that EmailDiversion is different from POP3, but you use EmailDiversion to tell our servers where to store email. Email can be stored in a POP3 account or on a webbased service without POP3 access. You need POP3 when using program like Outlook 97, Outlook Express, Internet Mail Eudora, Netscape Mail. All email addresses points to or is diverted into a POP3 mailbox which is a holding account where the email is stored until picked up by your email software. Example: demo@uk2.net is the email address of a POP3 account called "demo" on our server. You can read your email online on our WebMail directly in your browser. If you have a POP3 account and a dialup account with us, then you can use our SMTP server to send mail. For protection against spammers we as well as most ISPs do not allowing relaying. The fastest is to use the dialup ISP's SMTP server and not go via the net first.
